  • 1/2 cup flour All-purpose flour recommended.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar Light or dark brown sugar can be used.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted Can be substituted with a plant-based butter for a vegan option.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt To enhance flavors.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt.
  • Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.

Assembly and Baking

  • Grease a baking dish and spread the apple mixture evenly.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture over the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve Apple Crisp Bites warm, possibly topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat before serving.
