Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  • Wash and slice the apples thinly, about 1/8 inch thick. You can leave the skin on or remove it, based on your preference.
  • In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with cinnamon, sugar, and salt. Make sure each slice gets coated evenly.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange the apple slices on the baking sheet in a single layer. Make sure they do not overlap.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for about 2-3 hours, flipping the slices halfway through. Bake until they are crispy and golden.
  • Let the chips cool completely before serving.

Notes

Store cooled apple chips in an airtight container for up to a week. Refrigerate for longer storage. Consider using a mandoline slicer for uniform apple slices.
