Preparation

  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
  • Add cream cheese on top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks.
  • Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
  • Serve on sandwiches or over rice.
  • Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

To store leftovers, let cool completely, then refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge before reheating. You can customize toppings by adding your favorite ingredients like sliced jalapeƱos or diced tomatoes.
