For the topping

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup granulated sugar For sweetness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Roll out the pie crust and place it in a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and spread over the crust.

Topping

  • In another bowl, combine oats, flour, melted butter, and granulated sugar to create the topping.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Best served warm. You can enjoy them plain or with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store in an airtight container. They can last up to 2 days at room temperature or up to a week in the refrigerator.
