  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter.
  • Pour batter onto the skillet in the desired pancake size.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve warm with butter, syrup, and fresh fruit.

Notes

Don’t overmix the batter; it should be slightly lumpy to keep pancakes fluffy. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
