Main Ingredients

  • 6 pieces slider buns Soft slider buns for the base.
  • 1 pound roast beef Thinly sliced.
  • 1 cup caramelized onions Can be made ahead of time.
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese Shredded or sliced.
  • 1 cup beef broth For dipping.
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish Optional for added spice.
  • to taste seasoning (salt and pepper) For flavoring.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cut the slider buns in half and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  • Layer the roast beef evenly over the buns.
  • Add a layer of caramelized onions on top of the roast beef.
  • Place Swiss cheese on top of the onions.
  • Add the top half of the slider buns.

Baking

  • Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve French Dip Sliders warm, straight from the oven, with warm beef broth for dipping.
  • Offer horseradish on the side for those who enjoy a little kick.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the oven to maintain flavor. For extra taste, add garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the melted butter before brushing.
