Ingredients
  

For the French Toast

  • 4 slices slices of bread Use thick slices like brioche or challah for best results.
  • 1/2 cup Nutella Spread generously on the bread.
  • 2 large eggs Whisk together for the egg mixture.
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • as needed tablespoons Butter for frying Melt in the skillet before cooking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Spread Nutella generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Top with another slice to make a sandwich.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt some butter.
  • Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
  • Cook in the skillet until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Serving

  • Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
  • Pair with fresh fruits like strawberries or bananas, and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Reheat in a toaster or microwave, but they may not be as crispy.
