Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef for less grease.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to customize the cheese.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to customize the cheese.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For assembly and baking

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough Can substitute with pizza dough or crescent roll dough.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley Optional garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Remove from heat and mix in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted.
  • Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits.
  • Flatten each biscuit and place a spoonful of the cheeseburger filling in the center.
  • Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  • Place the bombs seam side down on a baking sheet.

Baking

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Parmesan cheese and brush over the top of the bombs.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, warm them in the oven or microwave.
