  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can be substituted with other cheeses if desired.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and flavor.
  • 1 cup vegetable broth or water Used for creating sauce.
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes Optional for heat.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the vegetable broth or water and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to combine.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream or cream cheese. Avoid overcooking the garlic to prevent bitterness. You can customize the dish by adding vegetables or protein such as grilled chicken or shrimp.
