  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Sauce Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp sour cream
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp maple syrup
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Toppings

  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1/2 red onion sliced
  • 2 large pickles sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved

Instructions
 

Cooking the Beef

  • Heat up your skillet and add the ground beef.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cook the beef until it is browned for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove any excess liquid from the pan and take it off the heat.

Making the Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients to create the burger sauce.

Assembling the Bowl

  • Start with a layer of chopped romaine lettuce, then add the cooked ground beef.
  • Top it off with slices of avocado, red onion, pickles, and halved cherry tomatoes.
  • Drizzle the burger sauce over the top and add a sprinkle of salt and black pepper.

Notes

Serve immediately after assembly for the best taste and presentation. Consider using grass-fed beef or turkey for added flavor, and feel free to add toppings like shredded carrots, cucumber, or different types of cheese for variety. Store leftovers separately in airtight containers. Beef and sauce last for up to 3 days, while lettuce and toppings should be consumed within 1-2 days.
