Ingredients
  

Meatball Mixture

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey Use ground turkey for a healthier option.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Sauce

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Try different types for varied flavor.
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks Canned or fresh.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, pineapple chunks, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through.

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve meatballs warm as an appetizer with toothpicks.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
  • Enjoy in a sandwich or slider with extra sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
