  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar Reserve 1/4 cup for topping

For the Crumble Topping

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and 1/4 cup of brown sugar.
  • Spread the apple mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.

Make the Topping

  • In another bowl, combine oats, flour, the remaining brown sugar, melted butter, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples.

Baking

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until the apples are soft and the topping is golden brown.
  • Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.

Notes

To store leftover Ultimate Apple Crisp, let it cool completely, cover it tightly, and refrigerate for 3-4 days. It can be frozen for up to 3 months.
