Main ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef roast Choose a marbled beef roast like chuck for richer flavor.
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 packet Brown Gravy Mix
  • 1/4 Cup Butter Placed in the middle of the roast.
  • 6 Pepperoncini Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 4 Cups Beef Broth
  • 24 oz Bag Reames Frozen Egg Noodles Can substitute with any egg noodles or pasta.

Preparation

  • Place the roast in a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and brown gravy mix over the roast. Place the butter in the middle of the roast.
  • Add the pepperoncinis around the roast.
  • Pour the beef broth around the outside of the roast.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
  • Once done, use two forks to shred the roast and mix well with the juices in the slow cooker.
  • Add the frozen egg noodles, ensuring to mix well to submerge the noodles in the liquid.
  • Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes to an hour until the noodles are tender.

Notes

Serve hot, paired with a light salad or crusty bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days or freeze individual portions for up to 3 months.
